They Bought A Cheap Mattress! What They Found Inside Made My Jaw Drop

This is a cautionary tale that proves the old saying “You get what you pay for.” A couple folks purchased what they thought was an immaculate and clean mattress on the street for a mere 200 pesos (roughly 13 U.S. dollars). When they took the mattress apart, however, they were shocked and appalled to discover what was truly under it — a dirty, filthy mishmash of seemingly random pieces. What was under the facade of the original mattress definitely didn’t seem appealing to sleep on. Let’s just say there’s a strong chance these people had second thoughts about actually placing their bodies on the deceptive old “mattress.”

Used mattresses might come in handy for money saving purposes. They aren’t, however, a great idea for sanitation or hygiene reasons. In fact, used mattresses are pretty much the polar opposite of clean and healthy, in many cases. Many seriously unpleasant things can collect on used mattresses — things that might not even be easily visible to you.
