Ingredients and Materials Needed
1 tall, wide-mouthed green or amber glass jar
Olive oil
Ceylon cinnamon sticks
Directions
Pack cinnamon sticks inside the glass jar
Pour olive oil over sticks, covering the tops
Place an air-tight lid on the glass jar
Keep in a warm area for at least 3 weeks
Try to shake your jar each day
Pull out the cinnamon sticks, wiping off oil and keeping in the jar
Strain the oil through a piece of cheesecloth or similar material
Place the oil in an air-tight amber bottle
Store in a cool, dry area
Other useful ways to use your oil is by placing a 10-15 drops of oil in a tub of warm water to help relieve symptoms of urinary tract infections. Massage therapy with cinnamon oil is also great for arthritis sufferers. Warm up some cinnamon oil and breathe in the sensuous fragrance to help with depression.
