Keep it Simple, and Get The Body You Want
Everybody looks in the mirror from time to time and sees something they’d love to change. Who wouldn’t want a sculpted physique, or six pack abs? It’s going to take some work, but you can do it. Increase your chances of success by keeping it simple.
Achieving your goals requires dedication and hard work, but we can explain the process to you in language simple to understand. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by sculpted supermodels spouting scientific mumbo jumbo, here’s how to burn fat and build muscle in a few easy to understand steps.
-
Forget Crazy Diets- Eat Sensibly
Diets excluding major food groups are popular because they demonize food, giving us something to blame. They’re also easy (in theory) to follow. Instead of getting rid of all the fats, carbs, and fun in our diets, lets keep it real, and simple.
Include one source of protein, such as lean chicken, beef, or seafood at every meal. There are plenty of vegetarian sources too, such as tofu, nuts, or legumes. A simple and easy way to get the nutrition you need while boosting the results of your workouts is by drinking protein shakes.
Eat several servings of fruits, grains, and vegetables daily. They are full of fiber, filling you up with fewer calories.
Most importantly, pay attention to your body. If you feel full, push your plate away. This is hard because so many of us were raised thinking it’s bad to waste food. Wrap up what you don’t eat and stick it in the fridge for later.
-
Cardio
Cardio workouts keep your heart rate up, burn fat, and a host of other benefits. Examples include walking, jogging, skipping rope, or aerobics. If you are breathing heavier than usual and sweating, then it’s working. Start small, just a few minutes at a time, and work up to a half an hour or more. Do this three to five times a week.
-
Weight Training
Lifting weights is the key to building muscle. It’s next to impossible to get the body you want without picking up a barbell. The more muscle your body has, the more efficient it becomes at burning calories. To achieve a svelte, toned figure, burning fat and building muscle are equally important.
Many women worry about overtraining, not wanting to add too much bulk to their frame. This shouldn’t concern you, especially at the beginning of your journey. When the day comes that you look at your reflection and think you look too ripped, then worry about it. Until then, muscle will make you look better, and burn fat.
-
Supplements
Supplements burn fat and build muscle more efficiently. There are many supplements on the market today that optimize your body’s response to diet and exercise, maximizing your results.
A note of caution; they are not a magic bullet. They don’t work unless you also eat responsibly and make working out part of your daily routine.

Keep it Simple
Don’t be overwhelmed by the process. There is so much information available that it’s easy to throw your hands in the air and say forget about it. Figure out the best plan for you, keep it as simple as possible, and start saving money for a new wardrobe. It’s hard work, so keep it simple to increase your chances of success.
