It is a grayish brown color, and it resembles a wad of dust. A hole is left in the skin where the blackhead had been.
What Are Blackheads?
Blackheads form when a clog builds up within one of the hair follicles that are found all over your body. When oil, dirt, and dead skin cells accumulate at the opening of a follicle, a bump called a comedome is formed. If a blackhead is not removed, it may grow in size. If it gets big enough, it might leave a permanent indentation in the skin when it is finally removed.
