Ginger accelerates our metabolism and improves digestion while promoting the absorption of nutrients a nd elimination of waste from the body, which prevents weight gain.

The use of ginger in medicine is not new. In fact, Galen, one of the fathers of this discipline, already used it in different treatments; and has been highly prized for centuries in Asia for its healing properties. Although it can be consumed in many ways, whether in sweets or as an ingredient in prepared foods, ginger tea is also a very popular – albeit slightly softer – a way of consuming this root.
In addition to being used as a digestive snack, it will help you control that voracious appetite, but how to prepare it?
I give you 3 ideas:
Infusion: Thoroughly wash the root of the ginger, cut 3 slices diagonally and in ½ glass of water boil 5 min; You can dilute it and take it alone (although it is spicy), but if it is too strong for you, you can dilute it in 3 liters of water of Jamaica or lemon. Remember that you must keep the water in refrigeration or in a very cool place.
In the vegetable soup. Wash the root very well and add 1 very small piece, remember that it is a very strong flavor so you can experiment with the quantity according to your palate.
Cook a sautéed rice with ginger:
- Palm Oil
- 2 cd. of finely chopped garlic
- 2 cd. of fresh ginger peeled finely chopped
- Salt to taste
- 2 cups of long onion cut into thin slices.
- 4 cups of cooked rice
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of low sodium soy sauce.
At medium heat apply the Pam in the pan and add the ginger and garlic without stopping to move. Until both are golden. Remove and sprinkle a pinch of salt.
Place a little more Pam and onions, cook over low heat for 10 minutes, until tender. Raise the heat and add the cooked rice, stir until hot.
Remove from heat and mix a little olive oil and low-sodium soy sauce accompanied with the garlic and ginger prepared above.
